Sin City
———–
Before the break of dawn
When the rats still roam
These streets of gold
Where young bodies are sold.
After the tired sun sets
Behind the big black gates
Where money is counted
For those who are counted.
While the bright moon travels
Across the city of marvels
Where everyday is a circus
A playground for brokers.
I’ll be sitting atop the roof
Looking out for only you.
