Colourful Love
Mangoes hang elegantly from the green trees;
Like that red pair of earrings from your ears.
The sun shines bright in the blue skies;
As do your glittering brown eyes.
What a wonderful season in the middle of the year;
With you sitting next to me, I have no fear.
The colourful butterflies flutter endlessly;
Over the yellow carpet of smiling dandelions.
The cheerful lovebirds sing a song on every branch;
Just like my heart has ever since that early March.
What a marvellous sensation in this beautiful country;
With you, I am motivated to solve the forgotten mystery.
Every colour different and more vivid from the other;
Your every expression stuns me and makes me stutter.
Each moment feels like a painter’s masterpiece;
But the frills on your purple skirt send a tease.
What a soothing atmosphere in the great outdoors;
With you, I just want to have more and more.
